Currey & Company is committed to the highest standards of quality and safety. As part of this ongoing commitment, we are voluntarily recalling our Two- and Three-Tier Nottaway Chandeliers (item numbers 9000-1255, 9000-1129, 9000-1254, 9000-1130, 9000-1314) due to a potential issue with the grounding conductor (ground wire) not being properly connected. This voluntary recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Reason for Recall

During a recent internal quality review, a Currey production team member identified that the equipment grounding conductor (ground wire) in certain Nottaway Chandelier fixtures was not properly connected to the metal frame grounding within the upper distributor compartment of the fixture frame assembly. As a result, portions of the metal frame may not be adequately grounded.

If an energized conductor were to become loose, damaged, or otherwise come into contact with the metal frame, the lack of a proper grounding path could create a potential electric shock hazard to consumers.

To date, Currey has received no reports of injuries, electrical shock incidents, or property damage associated with this condition. Nevertheless, Currey is voluntarily conducting this recall out of an abundance of caution and in keeping with its commitment to product safety, regulatory compliance, and customer protection. Only fixtures purchased between November 19, 2025, and May 6, 2026, are impacted.
