New Pale Products in Las Vegas
As things are heating up in Las Vegas with Market taking place from Sunday August 22 through the 26th; and HD Expo getting underway from the 24th to the 25th, we thought we’d cool it down with some of our pale products that will be new to our Vegas experience this market. We’ll have them in person in our showroom, # C398, and we’ll have reps on the floor who can answer your questions about these pale products below. We ask that you let us know you’re coming so we can pair you with the right professional who can guide you through all of our offerings.
Pale Products To See in Vegas
The Arden Ivory Vanity is inspired by a 1970s reverse-painted glass antique our director of furniture Aimee Kurzner found at the Paris flea market. The vanity features ivory reverse-painted glass panels on the top, front, and sides with solid brass trim, hardware, and legs. The vanity has a beveled top, and drawers with soft-close glides. A beautiful matching vanity mirror is sold separately, and the Arden family of furnishings includes the new chest below.
We move from ivory to white as we look at the pale products we’ll have on view in Vegas. The one exception below is the Lawrence Sand Vase Set, which has artful white swirls along its pale peach surface that makes it perfect for this theme.
A whimsical take on traditional faux bois, the Inverno Chandelier is made of wrought iron that is covered in paper mache with a semi-gloss topcoat. Because the white chandelier has such a crisp profile, it defies the normal rustic style into which it would normally be placed and leans decidedly contemporary.
Designed by Tom Caldwell, the Sheba Table Lamp has a geometric-shaped body that has been covered with laminated mother-of-pearl shell. The white table lamp features a matt finish on the shell surface and is accentuated with an optic crystal base. The shade is a cylinder shape in perfect scale with the overall design, which is made of an off-white linen fabric. The lamp is one of our most artful pales products.
Modern shapes and finishes define our Pino Drinks Table that has influences of Paris Moderne in its DNA. The gold drinks table is made of brass and white marble, the veining in the stone bringing a luxe feel to the composition. It’s a standout among our pale products.
Tom Caldwell calls the Mister M White Table Lamp a modern version of a traditionally shaped urn. “We’ve cleaned up the lines and eliminated much of the detail which would have been prominent on the traditional piece,” he explains. “The white lacquer finish is accentuated with a blue lacquered parchment shade. The combination of clean lines, contrasting colors, and great scale makes the piece a real statement item.” There are a number of accessories and lamps in this family of products, all inspired by Piet Mondrian’s color palette.
If the idea of nesting tables brings heavy wood furniture to mind, you’re in for a surprise with the Harte Nesting Table Set. The design of this pair of silver occasional tables is light and airy thanks to the thinness of the lines and the luminous nickel finish. Made of iron, the tables have thin raised accents along the frames, which are inset with white marble tops to make them in sync with the other pale products we offer.
Fashioned from designs that were inspired by the Imperial garden of Empress Eugenie, the wife of Napoleon III, our set of Dreamland Mushrooms have the same charm as her 19th-century porcelain mushroom sculptures. Look closely and you’ll see the bronze decorative elements at the base of these white mushroom sculptures are fanciful leaves.
The playful profile of the Charny Table Lamp makes this a charming addition to a room. The white table lamp is made of composite with a white gesso finish. The leaf-like shapes that extend from the stem make this a terrific luminary for a space inspired by nature. We’ve topped the lamp with a textural shade.
Pale peach with subtle swirls of white bring the Lawrence Sand Vase Set its pretty personality. The two decorative vases have tone-on-tone ridges and valleys along their surfaces, and the slight difference in shapes and sizes makes the peach vases terrific for pairing in an artful vignette. They are made of mouth-blown glass with a coral layer overlaid and splashes of white glass. Once the glass is blown, the vase is shiny, so our artisans softly sandblast the surface to achieve that wonderful matte texture.
With a slim profile made more powerful by the subtle geometric references, the Germaine White Floor Lamp is made of aluminum in a crisp white finish that places it squarely in our pale products lineup. This is the perfect lamp for those spots where light is necessary but the design needs to be unobtrusive. We also offer the Germaine floor lamps in black and antique brass, and as table lamps in black, antique brass, and white.
Our triad of Empress Parrots includes forward-facing, left-facing, and right-facing sculptures on branches. Each are fashioned from designs that were inspired by decorative objects owned by Empress Eugenie, the wife of Napoleon III; and each has the same charm as her 19th-century porcelain sculptures in the “Blanc de Chine” style that was a craze in Europe and was wildly popular in France during her reign.

Our Arden Vanity can double as a desk or a console table. The Lawrence Sand Vase Set is a pretty match for the ivory reverse-painted glass.
If you’ll be visiting us in Vegas, we look forward to seeing you there as summer winds down, the children return to class, and we zoom our way toward the cooler months ahead! If you have a favorite of these pale products we’ve featured today, let us know.
